Bananaman Triathlon

The race takes place at the fantastic Dorney Lake, which will be the venue for Rowing in the 2012 Olympic Games.

The BananaMan is over the ¾ triathlon distance comprising an 800m open water swim in the rowing lake before taking to the closed, flat road circuit for a 6-lap bike course covering 30k. The final 7.5k run follows a 3 lap loop along the side of the rowing tank on the tarmac paths.

The event is run as an individual race, Relay Teams and a Team Time Trial.

In total Owen White have 8 teams entered into the Relay Event in which there are three people per team with one person participating in one discipline and then handing over to the next. Virtually all team members are Owen White employees with a few “extras” from friends and family thrown in to make up the numbers.
