Direct marketing and data protection
We are regularly approached by both Franchisor and Franchisee clients asking for our advice in connection with proposed direct marketing campaigns and the implications of data protection legislation. This briefing note highlights the key issues your business should consider when carrying out direct marketing. It explains how you should collect information about customers and how to communicate information about your products and services to existing and potential customers. For Franchisors, it applies equally to information gathered about potential franchisees as part of your recruitment process.
