Nick Barnard - Partner

Nick heads up the team in the Property Department who represent RSLs and other suppliers of social housing. He advises on development acquisitions, planning obligations and all other property-related matters, including charging. His department also deals with the sales of shared ownership properties and those sold under Right to Acquire and other similar disposals.

Nick first acted for a housing association client in 1985 and has acted predominantly for RSLs since that time. His experience reflects the numerous changes in the social housing sector over the last 20 years or so.

His interests include watching most kinds of sport, supporting his sons’ sporting activities, reading and the cinema.
